This joint collaboration of Pakistan Engineering Council and Y2PG is really a treat for Pakistani engineers who are trying to improve their soft skills. What I have observed in myself and fellow engineers is the lack of positive attitude towards their life-objectives and their employers. During our working hours we simply bypass challenges and prefer to remain in our safe zone. Such attitude gets us nowhere near to improvement, and it prevents us from developing our personality needed for career growth.

Now that I am done with this program, I have improved on my communication skills, developed a more positive attitude. Now I would specifically come to me as an individual, that what changes I can feel after this course, prior to course I believed as an Engineer importance of analytical thinking, the ability or effort to break up a complex problem in smaller pieces and modules and then first find out which module has a problem and then fix it. But Now I believe more on a team work and involving my team mates rather just solving a problem. It has enabled more to accept the challenges, more open to accept solution and more open to get guidance and input from my team mates.

Now I would also appreciate the locking & unlocking strategy of the course making team, you need to wait next 24 hours for jumping into next module, and you need to follow your mates to give you a feedback. It will proportional that once you are requesting mates for a feedback, how humble you would be, to request them, this in an invisible way increase your bonding with team members.

I feel more motivated after this course, as motivation is something invisible and money or reward salary is not the only source which makes you motivated but a sense of ownership and importance, how important you are in society, and if you’re not complete your task others have to suffer.

I would recommend professional who are working with teams have this course, it will enhance their ability to be more efficient team player.
